Children’s Ministries
We are happy you have entrusted us with the care of your child while you are in Worship Service and/or Sunday school. Parents can have peace of mind knowing Church Nursery has a long history of excellent and safe childcare with loving workers who are eager to make you and your child’s experience at The Door CFC a pleasant one.
Nursery is provided for newborns through two year olds for all worship services, Mustard Seeds for 3–5 year olds, and Children’s Church for six years old through twelve for Sunday morning services.
Children’s Sunday School
Welcoming teachers lead our children through a Christ-based experience learning our Bible through story, art, and activity.
New children are always welcome any Sunday!
Children’s Church
Our children are our future and as such are the next vital link in taking the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Children are not just along for the ride and must not be overlooked. They must receive ministry as well as Mom and Dad. Children’s Church is provided for six years old through twelve for Sunday morning services.
Our Children’s Church classes include prayer, skits, puppet shows, music along with ministry that teaches Bible principles at each child’s level. Curriculum is planned in advance by the Children’s Church leaders and assistants. There are prizes given for memorizing Bible verses and participating in the lesson. Each child is encouraged to bring their own Bible to read along. Children’s Church workers build a firm foundation for a lifetime of learning God’s Word.
